Ascend ("we," "our," or "the app") is a daily quotes application. Your privacy matters to us, and we want to be transparent about what data we collect — which is very little.

Information We Collect

Ascend does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal information.

The app may store the following data locally on your device: your notification preferences, your favorite quotes, and your quote history. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, which processes a random anonymous identifier tied to your device — not your personal information.

Analytics and Tracking

Ascend does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not track your location, browsing habits, or app usage patterns.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notification scheduling is handled locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers to deliver notifications.

Third-Party Services

The app uses RevenueCat solely for managing subscription status. RevenueCat's privacy policy can be found at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. No other third-party services are used.

Children's Privacy

Ascend is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
